INTE 151 - Industrial Rigging (3 credits)
This course is designed to demonstrate to the student safe and correct means of rigging and hoisting equipment. Topics will include wire rope, synthetic and chain slings. 的 student will learn the fundamentals of wire rope maintenance, center of gravity calculations and safe crane operation.
Computer Integrated Machining and Manufacturing
CIMM 101 - Machine Shop Safety (1 credit)
This course covers the safe use of basic shop power equipment and hand tools. 的
student will learn precision measurement methods. This course is designed for students
in engineering 学科. It serves as a prerequisite for supervised use of the
Engineering Student Machine Shop and serves as a prerequisite for all UMKC Engineering

CIMM 102 - Basic Lathe Operation (1 credit)
Prerequisite: CIMM 101 or concurrent enrollment. This course covers the safe use and proper operation of a manual lathe. This course is designed for students in engineering 学科.
